Tariff change intelligence · for customs brokers

Know within hours which of your HTS codes changed.

We diff every HTS revision the moment USITC publishes it and send a report scoped to each client’s book: which codes changed rate, split, merged, or got deleted, what it means, when it’s effective, and the annual duty it puts at stake. No more diffing a 4 MB CSV by hand.

No card required to start · upload your codes, see your first report in minutes.

The problem

A misclassification you didn’t catch is a penalty, a retroactive duty bill, or an overpayment you never notice.

Section 301 modifications, reciprocal tariff actions, exclusions expiring and renewing, Chapter 99 provisions stacking on base codes. Today you find out from a CSMS blast, a rejected entry, or a duty bill. That’s too late.

And the codes themselves don’t sit still.

Split

A code you’ve filed under for years splits into two statistical suffixes. File the old one and the entry rejects in ACE. Guess wrong on which successor and you’ve misclassified.

Merge

Two codes collapse into one. Now two clients’ SKUs need remapping, and the lineage that tells you where each one lands isn’t in the CSV.

Replaced / deleted

A code is removed outright. Every client still classified there is dead on arrival at the next entry, and nothing tells you until it bounces.

A broker managing thousands of SKUs across dozens of clients has no clean way to know which classifications last week’s revision split, merged, or killed. We do, and we preserve the lineage so you know exactly where each code went.

How it works

Upload once. Get a scoped report every revision.

01

Upload your codes

Drop in your client code list. Dirty data is expected - wrong check digits, 8 vs 10 digit, stale codes. We reconcile it against the canonical schedule.

02

We poll USITC

Revisions drop irregularly, sometimes twice in a week. We poll daily and start diffing the moment a revision lands.

03

We diff, scoped to you

Rate changes, splits and merges with lineage preserved, deleted codes, Chapter 99 overlays, exclusion expirations - only the ones touching your book.

04

You get the alert

‘17 of your 4,200 codes changed, here’s what and when.’ Delivered within hours, by email, CSV, or API.

What you get

One place for every client’s codes, changes, and duty at stake.

Scoped change alerts

Every rate change, split, merge, deleted code, and Chapter 99 overlay in a revision - filtered to the codes in your book, within hours of USITC publishing.

Split & merge lineage

When a code splits, we show the successors and record which one each client’s goods classify to - so the next entry doesn’t reject in ACE.

A book per client

Manage every importer you serve from one account. Each client has its own codes, alerts, values, and split decisions - switch clients in a click, with a roll-up across all of them.

Duty-$ exposure

Attach each code’s annual value or quantity and see the base-MFN duty it carries - plus the dollar impact of a rate change. Base tariff today; the 301/232/IEEPA layer is building, and labeled as excluded until it lands.

Effective-rate detail

Per code: the base MFN (Column 1) rate resolved to the 8-digit subheading, Column 2, and special-program rates - with the Chapter 99 stack surfaced as data loads.

Federal Register early-warning

Pending changes days before the revision incorporates them: proclamation signed, chapters affected, effective date, with a link to the filing. (Professional and Broker.)

Why this beats the alternatives

The enterprise suites don’t price for you. A CSV download doesn’t answer your question.

Not data access - an alert service

The schedule is free and public. What you pay for is speed, the diff, and the fact that it’s scoped to your codes.

Splits and merges without losing lineage

When a code splits, we track where each client SKU should land so nothing gets rejected in ACE. That’s the part that trips everyone up.

Federal Register early-warning

Notices telegraph changes days before the revision incorporates them. On higher tiers you get the heads-up first: proclamation signed, chapters affected, effective date.

Built for a book of clients, with the money attached

One login, a separate book per importer, and the annual duty at stake on every change - the workflow a broker actually runs, not a single-importer tool or a raw CSV.
